Overview

Orb Sweeper is a single-player game designed with privacy in mind. It operates entirely on your device by default; the only data that ever leaves your device is leaderboard information shared with Google Play Games Services, and only if you choose to sign in (see "Third-Party Services" below).

Data Collection

Orb Sweeper does not itself collect personal data. Specifically:

• No personally identifiable information is gathered by the game.
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking is performed.
• No device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data are accessed.

If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games (see "Third-Party Services" below), gameplay scores and your Play Games profile are shared with Google. This is the only situation in which any data leaves your device.

Advertising

Orb Sweeper does not display advertisements and does not integrate any advertising SDKs.

Payments and Purchases

Orb Sweeper does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, or any form of payment.

Third-Party Services — Google Play Games Services

Orb Sweeper integrates Google Play Games Services (GPGS) for online leaderboards. This integration is optional: leaderboard submission only occurs if you sign in with a Google account.

When you sign in, the following data is shared between your device and Google:

• Your Google Play Games player ID and public profile (display name, avatar).
• Your completion time for each winning run on a preset difficulty (Easy / Normal / Hard, Classic and No-Guess — six leaderboards total). Google's leaderboard service retains the best time per leaderboard.

This data is processed and stored by Google under Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Custom-difficulty records are never submitted to Google and remain on your device only.

How to opt out

• Decline the sign-in prompt; nothing is uploaded.
• If signed in, sign out from inside the Google Play Games app on your device.
• Uninstalling the game removes all local data. Data already submitted to Google can be deleted from your Play Games account at https://myaccount.google.com → Data & Privacy.

Android Permissions

Orb Sweeper requests two Android permissions:

• INTERNET — used solely to communicate with Google Play Games Services when you choose to sign in. No other network calls are made.
• VIBRATE — used for haptic feedback during gameplay. Can be disabled in the in-game settings.

Local Storage

The game stores the following information locally on your device:

• Game settings (audio, haptics, background, difficulty preferences).
• High scores and best times.

If you sign in to Google Play Games, completion times for the six preset difficulties are also submitted to Google's servers; see Third-Party Services. Otherwise this data never leaves your device.

You can remove local data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage through your device settings.

Children's Privacy

Orb Sweeper itself collects no data. The optional Google Play Games Services integration is governed by Google's account-age requirements and privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published in this file along with a new "Last updated" date.
